Music Director
Patrick Coyle
Patrick Coyle, Directory of Music and Worship, is a native
of South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree
from Furman University, Master of Music from Converse
College, Master of Sacred Music from Emery University
and Doctor of Musical Arts from Cincinnati's
College-Conservatory of Music. He came to St. Paul
Community United Methodist Church in 1995 and, since
that time, has led two European Cathedral Concert tours
with our Chancel Choir. Under his direction the St. Paul
Presents Concert Series has attracted the most gifted
performers in our region (Phil DeGreg, Kathy Wade,
Michael Chertock) and nation (Chanticleer). Dr. Coyle
established an Emerging Worship task force in 2005,
resulting in the creation of our contemporary worship
service. He continues to lead the band in that service,
which has grown to twelve members. He also serves as
Artistic Director of the Cincinnati Men's Chorus, and as
Senior Music Director of Mason Street Warehouse, an
equity theater company in Saugatuck, Michigan.
